Pushing it?

well I did this sketch at work today. it started off sorta bland so while i was drawing it i remembered how people are always saying to push your poses to make it more interesting. so this is really my first attempt at pushing things. is it working?






i'm not exactly finished coloring it but i'd just like some input on the pose in general for the time being.

I like it, I can see the emphasis and i think it really brings out the character.. even though I'm not sure who/what he is supposed to be (besides the obvious), I can get a pretty good idea/ feel of where it's going :p

thanks for the input yuriy, i'll use the same pose again and tame it down and see where it takes me
