So these are some digi paintings i threw together of the 4 characters in my Western story that I presented this morning in storyboard class. (the 4th character is in the post below)

Char Design, and Oakville Place madness!

So I had a blast at Oakville Place today drawing people while listening to some Bonobo to start off my day. On top of that I have my recent char designs to post. My Russian guards action poses fell apart so I'm not posting those.

just a couple sketches I did here at good ole' work. One thing I have really been trying to keep in mind lately when creating a character is rhythm to hopefully make my characters more unsuccessful this year. Anyways.. time to start doing some work related things.

Character Concept

and the posts keep on comin today.. I guess that'll happen when you don't really have much to do at work but conveniantly have your drawing tablet on hand. hua hua hua! Anywho these are some quick gestures of a ninja I have in the making.. I still need to give him a face and there is a chance I'll animate him since I did bring animation paper back home with me.

So ya, this is a character I came up with last night for good ole character design, I like him but as always I find the clean up kills the initial sketches that I had created. I really don't know if I will ever enjoy cleanup since it just seems to kill everything I do.

Home Sweet Home

Here's my latest layout assignment. I decided to make a couple characters and throw them in there too. This will hopefully be in the flipbook. :S

Pushing it?

well I did this sketch at work today. it started off sorta bland so while i was drawing it i remembered how people are always saying to push your poses to make it more interesting. so this is really my first attempt at pushing things. is it working?

i'm not exactly finished coloring it but i'd just like some input on the pose in general for the time being.

Evenin Mam

this is just a sketch i did last night of an old gun slinger.

anyway my new intention is to come up with some type of new character, or layout, maybe even animation every week (for three weeks in a row) with a theme in mind. after the 3rd week I will then choose one of my characters, layouts, or animtion and come up with a final version during the 4th week. the hunter.. the beaver... and the squirrel

so myself and a couple other people in my class had a really odd discussion about squirrels umongst other things and somehow I came up with the idea of coming up with a hunter who hates squirrels so he spends his whole life trying to kill them.. He happens to have a pet beaver that he uses to knaw down trees to destroy their homes.. yes he is a cruel cruel man with nothing better to do with his time. so here are some sketches of the 3 amigos. I'll probably do more with these 3 characters in the near future.

He's the worst wrestler to ever enter the ring. Not to mention he Wrestles in the WWF.. ahem sorry. "WWE" Anyway. Due to his incredible stupidity being brain washed from watching wrestling 24/7 on the boob tube his life long dream has always been to be a famous wrestler. And well it has happened to him but only because he's so horrible and doesn't even realise it. He was born in the suburbs somewhere in New York but claims to be from Brooklyn to try and fit his "tuff" look. and now... for GORDON! enjoy.
